Every Christian Aid Week, people across Britain and Ireland step out in love for our global neighbours in a joyful celebration of our determination to change the world, through our gifts, prayers and actions. This Christian Aid Week (14-20 May), we stand with farmers in Malawi like Esther, determined women who want to make their childrens dreams come true and who will work to achieve great things. By donating now, your gift could help people around the world secure a safer, happier future for their children and grandchildren, and send a powerful message that we believe poverty can be beaten.

This year we have come up with 3 fundraising ideas and we hope one or more of them will appeal to you. On 14th May we will be holding a SPONSORED MUSIC MARATHON in the Parish Church at Colerne. You can take part or come and enjoy the music, and you can sponsor the event. It will run between 12 noon until 8pm. On Tuesday 16th May we have a SPONSORED GROUP WALK around Corsham, contact Annette Hitch - annettehitch@gmail.com - for further details. And if you’d like to take on your own challenge, everyone is invited to take part in the WALKIE-TALKIE challenge. For this you make a date for a chat or for a walk with a friend or friends and mark the event with a donation. Be the one to make the most dates and maybe you will win our surprise award!
